your musical instrument is never a tool,
if you disagree you are certainly a fool,
a connection with your instrument is needed
to allow your thoughts to be seeded.

Now watch the fruits of melody grow
with your memories from long ago,
whether they were good or evil
your instrument allowed that retrieval

This was mostly painted except for the skull, and the texture on the cello and skin
the eyes were painted but i used a picture that was sitting in my computer as reference

this might be my entree for LICA (Long Island Competition of Art)
